About Bradd

Bradd Hammond (also known as Mr. Christmas around Frederick, MD) is a self-taught interior designer with a background in landscape design. He has been making area homes, gardens, and businesses beautiful for more than 25 years. With his previous experience owning and operating Hammond Pool and Patio, and Hammond's Christmas Shop - two seasonal stores that shared the same space on Fairview Avenue in Frederick for more than 18 years – he has the right experience, service mannerisms, and eye for detail you need to complete any design project.

Along with his mastery of interior and exterior design, Bradd also designs and decorates beautiful custom interiors for all kinds of holidays! His specialty is Christmas, of course, but his more than 3 dozen seasonal clients can demand any type of celebration at any given time, so he has to be ready! Bradd excels in also designing for weddings, event coordinations, charity functions, wholesale showroom design & merchandising, floral design and installation, and the very best interior design services for both residential and commercial clients.

In all his time working in design, Bradd Hammond has made a real name for himself! He has won several awards for his talents, was dubbed "Mr. Christmas" by Frederick Magazine in 1997, and has been featured in many magazines, and newspapers! Additionally, Bradd has taught classes in his own shop and at Frederick Community College, seminars for garden and social clubs, and has spoken at both retail and wholesale home shows too!

Working with clients in Frederick, MD and beyond, Bradd continues to broaden his horizons. He has branched out into a pursuit of gift design, wholesale sales representation, funeral design, and online internet sales – just to name a few! But, Bradd always remembers his roots; having been born and raised in Frederick, where he still resides downtown in his 1920's Cape Cod home with two college-age sons, Chase and Andrew.
